PRACTICE AS THE PATH
"“Yoga; The journey of the Self, to the Self, through the Self.”
-The Bhagavad Gita

LIVING THE PATH SUSTAINING THE PRACTICE
A practice is not a destination or a performance. It is a living, ever-evolving relationship, with the body, the breath, ourselves, and the natural world. It is a way of returning to ourselves, again and again, within the full texture of life.
Andrea’s approach to yoga is rooted in the understanding that the body is a natural system, shaped by the rhythms of nature, the seasons, the elements, and our unique constitution. Practice is a way of listening, to the body, to the breath, and to the patterns that shape how we move through life.
Over time, that awareness extends beyond the mat. We learn to meet ourselves with greater presence and compassion, and in doing so, develop a deeper capacity to listen, connect, and relate to others.
Whether through yoga, breathwork, meditation, Ayurvedic self-care, time in nature, or study, the invitation is simple: to know yourself more deeply, live more consciously, and allow that awareness to transform how you experience and meet the world.
PILLARS

MOVE
Yoga as a living, breathing practice, one that builds strength, opens the body, and trains the nervous system to be present. From dynamic, deeply embodied Hatha Vinyasa to grounded therapeutic movement, each practice meets the moment.
Andrea’s teaching is often described as simutaneously gentle, deep and very strong. Every practice has its own rhythm, balancing activation and grounding, strength and softness, depth and ease, guided with a depth of experience and a sensitivity to what is needed in the moment.

BREATHE
Pranayama and conscious breathwork as tools for regulation, expansion, and depth. The breath is both anchor and gateway, the most direct route from the thinking mind to the felt body.

NOURISH
Food, herbs, and seasonal rhythms as medicine. Ayurvedic nutrition and functional food choices that support digestion, energy, immunity, and the specific needs of your constitution and stage of life.
AWAKEN AND ACTIVATE

Practice is responsive to the rhythms of nature and the cycles of life. There are times to awaken, build heat, cultivate strength, and move outward. Through movement, breath, and mindful effort, we activate energy and reconnect with our natural vitality.

There are also times to soften, turn inward, and replenish. Rest, stillness, meditation, nourishment, and time in nature create space to integrate and restore balance. Like the seasons, our practice is always moving between expansion and retreat, effort and ease.
